Just Orders is a local marketplace platform operated as a proprietorship and currently serving selected areas of Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India.

The platform connects customers with participating grocery vendors, home-service providers, vehicle rental providers, and delivery partners.

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Just Orders website, mobile application, and related services.

By using Just Orders, you acknowledge that your information may be collected and used as described in this Privacy Policy.

We collect information that is necessary to create and operate your account, process orders and bookings, provide location-based services, facilitate deliveries, process payments, and provide customer support.

Account Information

When you create an account, we may receive and store information such as your name and other account information provided through our authentication provider.

Just Orders uses Clerk for authentication. If you sign in using Google, information associated with your Google account may be provided to Clerk and, where required by our application, the relevant account information may be stored in our user database.

Contact Information

We collect your phone number when it is required for account creation, order fulfillment, booking coordination, delivery, or communication relating to our services.

Address and Location Information

We may collect delivery addresses and other location information provided by you for the purpose of fulfilling orders and bookings.

Our mobile application may request access to your device's current location. Location information may be used to identify nearby rental vehicles, participating vendors, relevant services, and other location-dependent features.

Just Orders does not continuously track your location in the background. Location access is used when required by the application, including when the application is opened or when you use features that require location information.

Orders and Booking Information

We collect and maintain information about orders and bookings made through the platform, including the products, services, rental selections, dates, quantities, addresses, and other information required to fulfill the transaction.

Payment Information

Payments made through Just Orders are processed by Razorpay or another applicable payment service provider.

Just Orders does not store your complete card, UPI, or net-banking credentials. Our database may store payment-related references such as the Razorpay order ID required to associate a payment with an order or booking.

Rental Verification

Vehicle rental providers may require customers to present identification and driving documents, such as an Aadhaar card and valid driving licence, before a vehicle is handed over.

These documents are not uploaded to the Just Orders application and are not stored in the Just Orders database or file storage. Customers present the applicable documents directly to the rental provider for verification at the time of vehicle handover.

Rental providers may have their own requirements and privacy practices relating to documents they inspect. Customers should review any applicable terms or requirements provided by the rental provider.

Just Orders also collects information from vendors, service providers, rental providers, and delivery partners who use or participate in the platform.

Depending on the participant's role, this may include information such as name, phone number, business or store name, business location, service information, vehicle information, vehicle registration information, and other information necessary to operate the platform.

Additional information or documentation may be requested from vendors, service providers, rental providers, or delivery partners in the future for identity verification, payment settlements, regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, or other legitimate operational requirements.

Where payment providers require additional onboarding or verification information from participating providers, such information may be collected and processed in accordance with the applicable payment provider's requirements.

We use information collected through Just Orders to:

• Create and manage user accounts.
• Authenticate users and maintain account security.
• Process grocery orders.
• Facilitate grocery delivery.
• Process home-service bookings.
• Facilitate communication with service providers.
• Process vehicle rental bookings.
• Provide location-based discovery and availability information.
• Coordinate deliveries with delivery partners.
• Coordinate orders and bookings with participating providers.
• Process and reconcile payments.
• Associate Razorpay transactions with orders and bookings.
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized activity.
• Maintain and improve the platform.
• Respond to customer support requests.
• Comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

We share information only where reasonably necessary to operate Just Orders, fulfill an order or booking, process a transaction, provide support, maintain the platform, or comply with applicable requirements.

Vendors and Service Providers

When you place an order or booking, relevant information may be provided to the vendor or service provider responsible for fulfilling it.

Depending on the service, this may include your name, phone number, address, order or booking information, scheduled date and time, and other information necessary for fulfillment.

Delivery Partners

For deliveries, relevant information may be shared with the delivery partner assigned to fulfill the delivery.

This may include your name, phone number, delivery address, and order information necessary to complete the delivery.

Rental Providers

Rental providers may receive information necessary to process and fulfill your vehicle rental booking.

Customers may also be required to show identification and driving documents directly to the rental provider. As described above, Just Orders does not upload or store those documents.

Payment Providers

Payment information is processed through Razorpay or another applicable payment service provider. Information necessary to initiate, authenticate, process, reconcile, or verify a payment may be exchanged with the applicable payment provider.

Technology and Infrastructure Providers

We use third-party technology providers to operate different parts of the Just Orders platform. These may include:

• Clerk for authentication.
• Supabase for database and backend infrastructure.
• AWS S3 for image storage.
• AWS CloudFront for content delivery.
• Razorpay for payment processing.

These providers may process information on our behalf as necessary to provide their respective services and subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices.

Legal and Regulatory Requirements

We may disclose information where required or permitted by applicable law, regulation, legal process, court order, government request, or where necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of Just Orders, our users, providers, or others.

Just Orders uses Clerk to provide authentication and account management functionality.

When you authenticate using Google, Google may provide account information to the authentication service according to the permissions and authentication flow you authorize.

Clerk may process authentication-related information, session information, and other information required to provide its authentication services.

Just Orders only stores the account information required by our application in our own database. We do not independently collect additional Google account information beyond what is required for our application.

Authentication sessions may use cookies, session tokens, or similar technical mechanisms required by Clerk and the application.

Just Orders may request access to your device location when you use location-dependent functionality.

Location information may be used to:

• Identify nearby rental vehicles.
• Determine relevant service availability.
• Identify nearby participating vendors.
• Support delivery and order fulfillment where necessary.
• Improve location-based functionality.

Just Orders does not use background location tracking for continuously monitoring your movements.

You may control location permissions through your device settings. Restricting location access may prevent certain location-based features from working correctly.

Just Orders and its third-party service providers may use cookies, session tokens, local storage, or similar technologies where necessary to provide authentication, security, session management, functionality, and other technical purposes.

Authentication-related cookies or session mechanisms may be used by Clerk or other components of the platform to maintain a secure authenticated session.

We do not currently operate a separate advertising-cookie or targeted-advertising program on the Just Orders website.

Third-party services may use their own technical mechanisms in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

Just Orders uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, misuse, or destruction.

Our application infrastructure includes Supabase for database services and AWS S3 with CloudFront for image storage and delivery.

Access to information is limited according to operational requirements and the role of the relevant user, vendor, service provider, delivery partner, administrator, or service provider.

No method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, while we take reasonable measures to protect information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Payments on Just Orders are processed through Razorpay.

Just Orders does not store complete payment-card information, internet-banking credentials, UPI credentials, card PINs, or CVV information in its own database.

Our systems may store payment references such as a Razorpay order ID and other transaction information necessary to associate a payment with a Just Orders order or booking.

Payment providers may independently collect and process payment information according to their own terms, privacy policies, and applicable legal requirements.

Participating vendors may be required to provide additional information, such as a UPI ID or other payment/settlement information, when payment settlement functionality is introduced and where required by the applicable payment provider.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our agreements.

Different types of information may be retained for different periods depending on their purpose and applicable legal or operational requirements.

Payment and transaction references may need to be retained as part of financial, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or legal records.

We may delete or anonymize information when it is no longer reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to applicable legal, regulatory, security, and legitimate business requirements.

Just Orders does not currently provide an in-app account deletion feature.

We may need to verify the identity of the person making a request before taking action on an account or personal-information request.

Some information may need to be retained where required by law or where reasonably necessary for legitimate purposes such as financial records, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or enforcement of legal rights.

Subject to applicable law and any applicable conditions or limitations, users may have rights relating to their personal information, including rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain information and to raise concerns about the processing of their information.

We will consider and respond to requests in accordance with applicable law. Certain requests may be subject to verification, legal restrictions, or legitimate business and security requirements.

Just Orders is not intended to be used by children who are unable to lawfully enter into agreements or use the applicable services.

Vehicle rental services are subject to applicable legal and eligibility requirements, including requirements relating to the customer's ability to legally drive and rent a vehicle.

We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children for purposes unrelated to providing services.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to Just Orders in circumstances where such collection was not appropriate, please contact us at support@justorders.in.

Just Orders relies on third-party services to provide certain functionality, including authentication, database infrastructure, image storage and delivery, and payment processing.

Third-party services may have their own privacy policies and terms. Their processing of information may therefore be governed by their own policies in addition to this Privacy Policy.

The Just Orders website or application may also contain links or references to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites that we do not control.

Because Just Orders is a marketplace and fulfillment platform, certain customer information must be shared with participating providers to complete an order or booking.

For example, a grocery vendor and assigned delivery partner may need access to your name, phone number, delivery address, and order information to prepare and deliver your order.

A home-service provider may receive your name, phone number, service address, booking information, and scheduled appointment details to provide the requested service.

A vehicle rental provider may receive the information necessary to process your rental booking and vehicle handover.

We expect participating providers to use customer information only for legitimate purposes related to fulfilling the applicable order, booking, delivery, or service.

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, technology, business practices, or applicable legal requirements change.

When we update the policy, the revised version will be published on this page and the "Last Updated" date will be updated accordingly.

Your continued use of Just Orders after an updated Privacy Policy becomes available constitutes acknowledgment of the updated policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
